Welcome to fantasy golf 2010!
The 10th season of Scrap Heap Fantasy Golf is now underway.

The league will once again be played using Yahoo's Fantasy Golf game and it is expected that the season will begin in early January.
League Format
The league consists of several sections:
- The two knockout tournaments feature single-week head-to-head matches, with the winner progressing to the next round. The dates for the knockout tournaments are shown on the schedule page.
- The league competition features head-to-head action in groups of 8. The first section lasts seven weeks, with the top two teams progressing to the final round, where they will compete in a similar seven-week group. Again, the relevant dates are shown on the schedule page.
- The Survivor Tournament sees the lowest scoring team of the week removed every week until just one team remains.
- There will also be a Majors Tournament. Here, the scores for the four Majors are combined and the highest scoring team wins a place in the Grand Final.
- The Grand Final to determine the overall winner of the league will take place in weeks 35-37. The winners of the above competitions qualify for this. There are other qualification routes, see the Grand Final page for details.
- Managers will then be ranked on their performance in each competition in order to determine the points awarded in the Scrap Heap Championship. See the bottom of this page for details.
The winner of the Grand Final will receive a small gift from The DeVere Belfry, the home of the 1985, 1989, 1993 and 2002 Ryder Cup Matches.
Scrap Heap Championship Points
Each manager will earn points based on their performance in the League Competition, the two Knockout Tournaments, the Survivor competition, the Majors and the Grand Final. Points will be awarded as follows:

The points from the above competitions will be added together. Managers will then be ranked by their total points from these competitions and awarded Championship points on points scale B. Please note that the winner of the Grand Final will receive 100 Championship points.
