League Competition

This competition features the top 32 from the qualification period in a series of head-to-head matchups.

ROUND 1 - At the end of qualifying, the 32 teams are drawn in to four groups, each containing eight teams, for the first round. The eight teams will compete in head-to-head matches over a period of seven weeks (weeks 9-15). Three points will be awarded to the winning team in each matchup, one point for a tie and zero for a loss. After seven weeks, each team will have played all other teams in their group and the top two in the standings will progress to the final round.

FINAL ROUND - The eight remaining teams will again play a series of head-to-head matches with the same point-scoring format as the previous round. The top two in the standings after the seven weeks will progress to the Scrap Heap PGA Grand Final at the end of the season. This will take place in weeks 22-28.

Tie-breakers - Teams tied at the end of a round will be separated by the following tie-breakers:

            1. Aggregate of winning/losing margins in current round.

            2. Result of Head-to-Head matchup.

            3. Overall Yahoo fantasy golf points total.

            4. Random coin flip.
